Sorry, a bad day and I'm VERY DRUNK

Just home from funeral and wake of a great friend.  It's nearly midnight.  I am soooo drunk.  How do you move forward after a friend you loved dies in such as tragic and terrible way.  I thought  I was holding it all together until I saw his 3 kids come into the church and then i realised what we have all lost.  Sorry to start the weekend on a downer, but please raise a glass to him in your own way this weekend.  I did. And, knowing him, I think he'd appreciate it. x

Thanks *hugs back*
Any death seems so meaningless, Let alone a 44yr old father of 3 whilst doing a charity bike ride.
Appreciate you spending the time to reply. xxx

Here's to your friend! A drink and a prayer for those he left behind.

Funerals are so hard, but I'm sure your presence helped his family cope. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Don't forget to take care of yourself in this difficult time.
